Apple Iphone 16 Glow Time Event: What to Expect on September 9th!

When Apple sent out invitations to its Apple Park presenting on Monday, the firm disclosed that its upcoming product launch is scheduled for September 9. While we expect that the iPhone 16 series will be the main attraction, there may be some hints included in Apple’s invitation to the event.

Though this is all speculation, Apple does have a tradition of include a humorous theme link in the invites for its iPhone events. The “Wonderlust” invite from the previous year, for example, featured images that eventually referenced to the titanium colors of the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. The shadowy patterns surrounding this year’s “It’s Glowtime” tagline are pink, purple, and blue, and they resemble the color palettes used to unveil Apple Intelligence at WWDC. The new glowing border that shows up in iOS 18 when you summon up the Siri assistant could also be referred to as the glow.

Should the invite’s design have been intentional, it may indicate that Apple Intelligence—which the company revealed earlier this year but hasn’t yet released—will be highlighted alongside the iPhone 16. Apple Intelligence features include a new version of Siri and generative AI tools like GenMoji and Image Playground for creating emoji and photos, respectively.

Apple’s suite of AI technologies should be accessible on the iPhone 16 series if the company places a lot of emphasis on Apple Intelligence at the event. Further AI on other devices, though, would be interesting. As an example, the original AirPods from Apple were discontinued in 2021, whereas the AirPods Max headphones are still in production as of 2020. The Pixel Buds Pro 2, which enable Google’s Gemini assistant, was just revealed by the company.

Additionally, we can certainly anticipate Apple sharing more information regarding Apple Intelligence during the event, much way Google talked about Gemini’s functionality on its devices for a large portion of its most recent Pixel event. As of right now, the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will be able to utilize Apple Intelligence. Apple Intelligence will also be supported by Apple’s iPad and Mac devices, provided that they have at least an M1 CPU. These include the most modern MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac Studio, and Mac Pro PCs in addition to the most recent iPad Air and iPad Pro tablets.
