Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki will arrange a Royal Visit to Saudi for ASP Syeda Shehrbano Naqvi and her family following her heroic actions in saving a woman from a violent mob in Lahore’s Achhra Market.
A source linked with the Saudi Ambassador told The News and Geo that Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki told this to ASP Syeda Shehrbano during their meeting in the Saudi embassy where the ambassador hosted the brave police officer.
The source said that Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan appreciated the courage of the police officer and told her that the Saudi govt would bear the expenses of her travel to Saudi with her family as a Royal guest.
The Saudi ambassador lauded ASP Naqvi for her selfless devotion to duty and professionalism in diffusing a volatile situation.
A day earlier, the Gulberg Assistant Superintendent of Police called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters.
Gen Munir acknowledged the vital role Pakistani women were playing in all walks of life. “Since independence, Pakistani women have distinguished themselves at home and abroad, by their talent, tenacity, and commitment,” he was quoted as saying.
This comes after her courageous actions in saving a woman from a violent mob in Lahore’s Achhra Market.
According to a source connected to the Saudi Ambassador, Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki conveyed this during a meeting with ASP Syeda Shehrbano at the Saudi embassy, where he hosted the brave police officer.
The Saudi Ambassador praised the police officer’s bravery and assured her that the Saudi government would cover the expenses for her and her family’s travel to Saudi Arabia as royal guests.
He commended ASP Naqvi for her dedication to duty and professionalism in handling a dangerous situation.
Earlier, ASP Syeda Shehrbano Naqvi met with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters.
Gen Munir recognized the important role Pakistani women play in society and praised their talent, perseverance, and dedication.
The Inspector General of Police (IGP) has recommended Syeda Sheharbano Naqvi for the Quaid-i-Azam Police Medal (QPM) in recognition of her bravery.
